We need the education system to stop making assumptions.

There are some very flawed assumptions around our current, outdated, educational system, explains this blog post by Big Think. This includes a quantitative approach to learning. We see degrees, diplomas, seat time, and credits as indications of what the student has learned. It prevents learners from “discovering their gifts, identifying their aptitudes, and understanding how they can create value in society in their unique way”. To reshape education, we need to re-imagine it. We need to abandon traditional top-down approaches and place the learner at the center of it.

Three solutions are suggested to achieve this: Discovery, Development and Deployment.
